On the stratagem: the cunning monkey above the clash of two tigers

I never tire of pointing my finger at the intelligence signs of an important change on the path of Chinese policy – the endless path of cunning.

The signs must be discerned – and that is an art.

So then:

21-23.10.25 in Beijing the 4th plenum of the 20th convocation will be held. This plenum, according to the old scheme of the Chinese bureaucracy, should be focused on questions of the economic course and the line of the CCP (to approve the indicators of the 15th 5-year plan 2026-2030).

The 20th CCP Congress in October 2022 adopted an ambitious program of active pressure by the PRC in pushing the USA from the place of world leader. Relying in this on the strategic interaction of the PRC with the RF.

However, half a year later, the ministers of foreign affairs and defense, the head of the USA department of the Central Committee office and other great-power advocates, who had been called to fight the USA, were flung from their posts. They were replaced by "friends of the US dollar".

The 3rd plenum, which was long postponed, in July 2023 turned the policy line from state regulation of socialism with Chinese characteristics toward strengthening the market.

The 4th plenum may well turn not only the line but the entire policy course toward strengthening constructive cooperation of the PRC with the USA ("against Russia, on the ruins of Russia and at Russia's expense").

The Chinese conducted a thorough investigation of the causes of the collapse of the CPSU and the USSR.

Conclusion: the main cause of the collapse was the confrontation of the USSR with the USA amid the ossification of the system and the absence of social lifts for the young, capable, creative.

Deng Xiaoping left a testament: under no circumstances repeat the mistakes of the CPSU, do not enter into open confrontation with the USA, do not allow a cold war.

The propaganda of the RF has now sharply intensified anti-American rhetoric.

It is high time for the Chinese to give the honor and glory of confrontation with the USA to the great-power advocates of the RF, and themselves to change the role of the all-powerful dragon once again for the role of the cunning monkey above the clash of two tigers.

We will soon see the results of the 4th plenum. But it will already be too late for the Kremlin to change anything in the "unprecedentedly high level of Russia's relations with China".
