The answer of the warriors of the spirit to the analysts of old thinking

The summit of the art of war is victory without the use of weapons.

At the beginning of the 20th century, on the battlefield in deep offensive operations, horse armies fought – this was still a war predominantly of manpower.

In the middle of the 20th century, horse armies were replaced by tank and air armies – WWII became a war of motors, but still with mass loss of manpower.

In the second half of the 20th century, the continuation of politics by violence took the form of the "Cold War".

This was a war of threats of missile-nuclear potentials of two "superpowers: US imperialism and USSR social-imperialism" while the political-ideological tension was deflated in prolonged (9 years each) wars of attrition, disastrous for the superpowers, in Vietnam (1965-1974) and Afghanistan (1979-1989).

At the beginning of the 21st century, economic globalization gave birth to WWIII of a new hybrid type. It began in 2013 and in its active phase on the Middle Eastern and Ukrainian theaters of war is close to completion already in 2026.

The main front of the continuation of politics by violence has shifted from the sphere of armed confrontation into the social sphere of the psychic resilience of the population, the survivability of infrastructure, the capabilities of the economy and, most importantly, the financial, technical, political, and moral support of the warring sides from abroad. The potential for victory has become alienated from the theater of war.

Cardinal changes have occurred on the battlefield asymmetric to the art of war of the "Cold War" period. Technical modernization was, in essence, overcome by archaization of the methods of combat employment of weapons: not higher – farther – faster, but now: lower – closer – slower.

Unmanned aerial vehicles on the Ukrainian theater of war have broken the principles of war in the air: slow-moving, low-flying, cheap UAVs in terms of combat effectiveness, with multi-hour flight time to targets, have surpassed hypersonic missiles; by the cost/effectiveness criterion they have become ruinous for anti-aircraft and anti-missile air defense systems; through the multiple increase in reconnaissance-strike capabilities of detection and targeting, they have expanded the width of the line of contact between the sides from hundreds of meters to 30 kilometers, which has caused a sharp reduction in the rate of advance of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the SMO from the 10-15 km envisaged by the theory of offensive operations to, in fact in 2025, only 15 meters per day.

The breakdown of the conception of security on 06.05.26 was produced by a demonstrative strike of a Ukrainian aircraft-type drone that seeped through at night past all the air defense lines of the capital and crashed into a high-rise building on Mosfilmovskaya St. 6 km from Red Square.

Crewless small-sized boats have turned into phantom targets for detection, targeting, and engagement by complex shipborne systems, and in countering them they have brought to the fore observers with binoculars and small arms.

Even greater confusion for the analytical mind is presented by the threat, spun up in the media (the drums of war), of a big war of weapons on the European theater.

The universal truth of historical materialism asserts: Politics is the concentrated expression of economics, and war is the continuation of politics by violent means.

In the tectonic processes of global transformation, which have cosmic foundations, the resource economy of industrial society is being reborn into the knowledge economy of the information society.

Biotechnologies of artificial protein (microbial protein) remove the problem of hunger of traditional agriculture with field yields and livestock numbers.

The new energy sector of obtaining electricity from the environment, cold nuclear fusion, and Bogomolov accelerator reactors will devalue the fossil resources of hydrocarbons as the main resource of the economic power of states of the industrial era.

Thus, in the new epoch, war as armed violence for the direct seizure of the resources of territories loses its meaning.

However, the history of all societies that have existed until now has been a history of wars and the art of war.

In the information society, the main front of violence becomes a war of meanings and nerves, while the methods of a new type of violence shift from the sphere of diplomacy resting on the war of weapons into the cognitive sphere of managing people's behavior.

A caricatured image of the biblical horsemen of the apocalypse: First, the war of the clash of civilizations between the World of the West and the World of Islam in Asia Minor (Syria has fallen). Then the COVID-19 pandemic (democracy was shaken). Then famine of raw materials, fuel, and chemical fertilizers due to the blockade of the Persian Gulf. Finally, the death of the old world order of industrial society.

Now it is not calculations of missile flight time, not the speed and range of means of destruction, not the number of missiles and nuclear warheads – all these are threat factors of a departing industrial society – but high information technologies incognito (without friend \ foe identification) from 2030 will determine the victor at the final stage of the biblical Battle of the End of the old world order, during humanity's transition into the life of the age to come.

Sincere patriot-analysts who assess the situation in the forms of thinking of the old world order of industrial society have already lost the coming war of meanings.
