ACADEMY OF DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT – INSTITUTE OF SKY POLITICS On the missed opportunities of Orthodoxy in China The People's Republic of China in 1982, at the 12th Congress of the CPC, having adopted the course toward building socialism with Chinese characteristics, having accomplished the tasks of the four modernizations and having traversed the path of reform and opening up over 40 years, by 2021 eliminated absolute poverty and built a society of moderate prosperity (Chinese: xiao kang). The society of moderate sufficiency "xiao kang," having in strict accordance with the Confucian canon solved the task of a well-fed life on earth, on the Path of Heaven (Dao) lost the descent of Grace (De) upon the people. Now, in order to overcome the thirst for money of "bourgeois liberalization" and to set out on the path of "spiritual civilization" (精神文明), the thoroughgoing pragmatism of the people's life needs an inoculation of the Spirit of Truth (Chinese: Shen).

The Chinese sages wanted to receive this inoculation from Orthodoxy, for according to the law of change only the East overcomes the Center of the heavens occupied by China. And the meaning of the name Orthodoxy in Chinese signifies "Eastern Right Teaching" (东正教). This intention is evidenced by the unprecedented visit of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church Kirill to Beijing, which took place at the personal invitation of the just-inaugurated leader of the party and state, Xi Jinping, in May 2013. However, at that time there was no understanding of the symbolic significance of the invitation, and the matter did not come together. As a result of the missed opportunity to return Grace (De) to the people, the everyday life and mores of Chinese society at the local level arrived at a pitiful picture, far both from the red ideals and from Confucian norms. Here is what business people who have long lived and worked in the PRC write: "My children attend a Chinese school. For already 5 years the Helmsman (Mao Zedong) has been cut from the textbooks, and even his portrait must still be sought in the city, only on Tiananmen Square. And before the October holidays a government order came out that in the villages red flags were not to be hung. My children went to kindergarten; this is mandatory in order to get into school. In kindergarten the teachers instill a love for America, the West. Children, study well, you will grow up and go to America and Europe to study. Nowhere and in no way do they speak or write that to the north there is still a country, Russia, not to mention such countries as India, etc. The SCO and BRICS. About India they say: a dirty garbage dump; about Venezuela: debauchery and prostitution; Iran and all of Arabia – terrorists, and there are no citizens of these countries in China either. All propaganda is based on the American product – phone, laptop, computer, all children's games, cinema with the help of Hollywood; everything best that has been created: skyscrapers, high-speed roads, the sun – is American and Western, bought by the Chinese government at international tenders, from toothpicks to space. Foreign smart kids at the factories, for pleasure and for money, stamp out and turn out electric cars and autos, for abroad. Chinese people love only BMW, Mercedes, Audi, American, and in the worst case Korean and Japanese cars. They try not to buy Chinese electric cars, since you won't be able to sell them. If for a used gasoline car they give 10,000 dollars, for an electric one – 1,000 or less, no matter what the mileage. Children learn a foreign language – only English. Those who studied Russian very much regret the lost time. Yabaolu (the street of trade with small-wholesale buyers from Russia and the CIS in Beijing) is closed. The church is only Catholic. At the same time they say this faith brings all sorts of vices and debauchery. There are almost none, and one might say there are none, who believe in anything. Old people used to somehow show faith in Buddhism and even bought various items, keychains with images of Buddha for the hand, for the neck, statuettes. Now there are none. There are many temples standing, but Catholic ones (a legacy of the Taipings). But they are all empty; there simply stands in the village a beautiful European building with a cone upward and a cross. I don't know who is investing in this now and for what purpose. Mosques and places where Muslims gathered and prayed have all been demolished. Order is ensured by fear of the security forces and fear of the absence of income for food. Any violation, and you are unemployed for life, and rickshaws were abolished long ago. Everyone has been photographed. Everyone is accounted for, since 100% of payments go through the phone. Any policeman can take your photo and on his tablet everything about you and your relatives will pop up. Fear was created long ago, when there were repressions and shootings, and people do not stick their heads out anywhere. They express their dissatisfaction only in the kitchen. In China the people long ago developed a scheme of life (fear) – to earn bread and a pension by any means. The rest can burn and step aside, there's no time. Everyone has isolated themselves and keeps quiet. The internal old family clans have fallen apart; the right to things by pull, by acquaintance, by kinship has been cut out. In every family there is a clan of the rich or well-off and a clan of the propertyless. No one helps anyone, but when you are about to die everyone will come to see you off on your final journey and sing a song."

And here is more: "I have traveled China far and wide already many times. Indeed, in almost every village there stands a Catholic church. But the Chinese are generally not religious. Their God is money. Indeed, cameras at every intersection, 20 apiece. Indeed, apart from money nothing else interests the Chinese. Young people want only to trade. No one wants to work with their hands. Every young person has a long nail on the little finger. I asked what this means. They answer: it means that I am not a laborer and do not work with my hands. At the factories the average age of the workers long ago passed 40 and is already approaching 50. And finding employees for an enterprise is becoming harder and harder. There is a catastrophic shortage of engineering personnel. They never managed to build a mass education system. Even a good primary education is paid, not to mention secondary. The party elite has all rotted and turned into oligarchs. Many large enterprises have begun to massively introduce robotics. Because of this the number of working personnel is being cut by at least threefold. And where they will put the 800 million people currently employed in production in 10-20 years, I do not know. Because 500 of them will soon lose their jobs. At the same time the standard of living has risen greatly. The Chinese now live in sufficiency much better than we do. But there is no universal pension. Children still often support their old parents. There is no red idea there, not even close. China has lain down under the Kabbalist Rothschild Jews, and for this they are permitted to produce goods for the whole world. And no one declares sanctions against them for a "totalitarian" regime as they do against us. All the children of factory owners go to study in England and the USA. They receive a meaningless economics education there, return from there and look at their parents as at idiots. They do not want to continue the business of their parents, which the latter achieved by their own labor and sweat." In the current situation, when liberalism leads to amorality, communist ideals have wilted, and Confucian norms of communal life do not work, the single destiny of the peoples of China and other countries of non-Western civilizations should be placed not on the staples of ideologies and not of religious doctrines, but of ethics. Namely, the ethics of the Single State of Genghis Khan, when China of the Yuan dynasty, the Jochi ulus (Rus’, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan), the Chagatai ulus (Central Asia) and the Hulagu ulus (Iran and the Caucasus) lived in relations of a family of peoples. The foundations of the Horde ethics of the Single State of Genghis Khan were the principles of the five above: The spiritual above the material. The common above the private. Justice above the law. Service above possession. Power above property. Plus the 64 points of the “Great Yasa”: that which must be and that which may be, with the inevitability of punishment by death for that which must not be. In the new era of the information society, with the transition of the economy from capitalism to the modern Asian mode of production, the Community of Shared Future for Mankind (人类命运共同体) can be built relying on the Horde principles of the ethics of the “five above.” It is only necessary to additionally develop a code of piety, combining the moral code of the builder of communism with the ethics of Confucianism, the ethics of the Islam of the heart and the ethics of Orthodoxy. Russia is a feminine soul, and in the family of peoples united within the framework of the New Horde (the Shanghai Cooperation Organization) it is precisely Moscow that is called upon to take the initiative to rise above the level of ideologies and religious doctrines that divide countries and peoples, to the level of traditional ethics. A universal ethics that is accepted by all heirs of the Single State of Genghis Khan (the First Horde) and Stalin’s Socialist camp (the Second Horde). However, if Russia in the Battle of world projects at the end of 2025 herself dares to order the game at the card table of history, then she will have to play against China, having assembled a coalition of forces with the champions of revenge of the black international of the civilizations of the North (the EU, the USA). But if China orders the game in the new alignment of 2025, then Russia will be together with China, playing along and forming its strategic rear. As the elder sister – the bearer of the traditional ethics of the family of peoples – Russia will also provide China with an inoculation of the Spirit of Truth.
