DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT ACADEMY – INSTITUTE OF SKY POLITICS The meaning of the message “The Birth of the North”: For an alliance of Russia with Europe and the USA against China On the eve of Russian President Putin’s visit to Beijing for the Third International “Belt and Road” Forum, former creator of Kremlin meanings V. Surkov, on 26.09.23, delivered a conceptual article, “The Birth of the North.” The article quietly acts as a message to President Putin and to the entire ruling stratum of Russia regarding the creation of a common sociocultural space: Russia – USA – Europe, forming a triune geopolitical cluster, the Great North. For “the premonition of the North has already manifested itself in the intensified use of the term ‘global South.’ There is no South without a North. And ‘the common future of the northern civilizations is predetermined by common roots.’ The purpose of the message is to prevent Russia’s turn to the East and to preserve Russian civilization as part of the heirs of Rome. In Surkov’s message it is not specified who belongs to the “global South” and where China’s place is in a world picture with the leadership of the “Great North.” Surkov merely states Russia’s disengagement from the West (the Eurocentrism of the old world order) and, with the appeal “you and I are of one blood,” paints the prospect of a new world order now led by a collective North. Here it should be emphasized that the message is written, albeit in vague language, nevertheless in the clear binary logic of European geopolitics, as a “grand chessboard.” To understand the processes of global transformation, however, the world picture from the perspective of Eurocentrism should be supplemented by the world picture in the Chinese turn, where the Middle Kingdom of yellow people occupies the “Navel of the Earth” – the Center of all that is under Heaven. The Chinese blueprint of the world order is four cardinal directions and a center. Their relations have the wave-like character of changes. With the tide of cosmic energies of the corresponding cycle: the North overcomes the South. The South overcomes the West. The West overcomes the East. The East overcomes the Center. The Center overcomes the North.

Thus, in 1993 the Military Council of the CPC Central Committee adopted a secret doctrine, “Three Norths. Four Seas,” with the transfer of the PRC’s strategic borders beyond the limits of national territory. The Four Seas are the global scale of the project: from the Arctic Ocean in the North to the Indian Ocean in the South, and from the Pacific Ocean in the East to the Atlantic Ocean in the West. The Three Norths are the North American United States, the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO), and Russia beyond the Urals. From the perspective of the Chinese dream of reviving the greatness of the yellow nation, what is at issue is the creation around China of a Community of Shared Future for Mankind (共同构建人类命运共同体). It is quite obvious that the implementation of Surkov’s message places Russia under circumstances of insurmountable force of the Law of Changes, as laid down by the Chinese in the doctrine “Three Norths. Four Seas.” Sky Politics (天缘政治学), however, shows that with the beginning of the new era of the energies of the constellation Aquarius, the tidal wave of the cycle has also begun: the East overcomes the Center. A new day on earth begins in the east of the date line in the Bering Strait, where the first country to meet the Light from the East is Russia. The cosmic grounds for considering Russia the East are fixed in the names of Soviet cosmonautics: Gagarin’s first spacecraft was called “Vostok,” then there was the series of “Voskhod” spacecraft. The new cosmodrome in Siberia is called “Vostochny.” In the coming information society, spiritual foundations come to the fore in the priority of life’s values. In Chinese, the original meaning of the name “Orthodoxy” is interpreted as “the Eastern correct teaching.” At the same time, the “correctness of the teaching” in the name refers to the pre-schism foundations of the faith from the time of the Single State of Genghis Khan in the monotheistic Power of Heaven and the triune Will of Heaven (“God and the Holy Trinity”). In other words, the entire Universe will help the foretold transfiguration of Russia into the “Kingdom of truth – the Power of the white tsar,” if in the self-identification of the new era of Aquarius Russia relates itself not to the North but to the East.
