The art of war in the PRC of the new era

Since ancient times of the sage Sun Tzu, the Chinese have known that the pinnacle of the art of war is victory without the use of weapons, which is achieved at the level of stratagems (military cunning) and diplomacy.

Strategic thinking in matters of power, with the accompanying interpretation of international relations on a worldwide scale with Chinese characteristics, can be developed on the model of the game of Go (Chinese weiqi). Bearing in mind that Europeans tend to fit the military-political situation to the model of the game of chess, whereas the Anglo-Americans – to the model of the game of cards.

In the art of war, three factors of combat actions lead to victory: strike, fire and maneuver. And if The Great Chessboard of world politics with the pressure of pieces on territory or The Card Table of History with the seizure of resources by bribes – is a reproduction of combat actions by strike, fire and sword, then the Chinese surround-siege checkers "Go" – is a way of peacefully gaining dominance, pinning down the opponent with stratagems by denying freedom of maneuver.

A vivid example of China's peaceful expansion in its thrust in the direction of the Economic Belt of the New Silk Road to the West is the technopark of "all-weather cooperation" with Belarus, "Great Stone", precisely as a stumbling block for the dominance in the fraternal republic of Russia's interests.

While Russian diplomacy of Lavrov – Ushakov, intoxicated by the chimera of a multipolar world (which does not exist in the geomagnetic nature of the Earth), in proud strategic solitude laboriously performs a "simultaneous exhibition" on many chessboards of international relations, China, by methods of restricting freedom of trade and squeezing out of the market by placing "stones" on the model of the surround-siege checkers "Go", seizes control also over the countries of the "economic belt" of Central Asia (Turkestan).

And in relations of constructive strategic stability with the USA, China, with cards in hand, nevertheless, on the model of the game of "Go", is leading matters toward a delimitation of global governance. The essence, in the area of development of the Maritime Silk Road of the 21st century, leaving the Old World to itself, and the New World to the USA.

As for the operational situation with the changing alignment of forces on the world arena every four years, here the Great Game of six world projects is played at the round Card Table of History.

Masters of politics according to card schemes of the game of bridge were the British prime ministers Churchill and Thatcher, the architect of the Chinese miracle Deng Xiaoping, the American Eisenhower and business tycoons. 

Statements of Sky Politics on war and peace of the new era:

- War was, is and will be a question of power: the implementation of politics by means of violence.

- The logic of harsh circumstances is stronger than the logic of good intentions.

- The battlefield from territories (water areas) has changed the medium of coverage: now the electromagnetic and information fields are in priority.

- The factors of political geography, the genetic, cultural and civilizational codes of nations are stable and ineradicable.

- By mental makeup (the fibers of the soul), straightened out by ethics, creeds and ideologies, nations are divided into complementary (friendly) and non-complementary (unfriendly).

- In the new era of the information society, victory in a new type of hybrid war is achieved not so much in territories on sea and in the air, as in the minds and hearts of the popular masses by the captivating dream of truth, happiness and the joy of a bright life of the age to come.

- The meaning of existence is not in the survival of a nation in historical eternity, but in the transfiguration of human nature in harmony with the cosmos.

- The sovereignty of the state has moved from the sphere of rights and interests of well-being into the sphere of the meanings of grace, values and sacred things.

- With a convincing missile-nuclear potential and, on the whole, quite satisfactory indicators of military power, Russia in a war of a new hybrid type in the Ukrainian theater of operations found itself shackled by the "new grammar" of the tactics of the information battlefield (UAVs, AI, Starlink), while in strategy it fell under the restrictions of non-military factors of violence: squeezed by the sanctions of the "coalition of democracies," gripped in the embrace of friendship with China, driven by the masters of money matters of those behind the scenes into the channel of transition to a new currency world, to the place assigned to it as a "tributary" of resources.

- The goal of policy may also be defeat in a war of weapons, for defeat as a stratagem guarantees a change of the regime of power. 

- Victory in war determines the rights of the victor. In a war of a new type of the new era of the information society, when it comes to peace, what is meant is not the rout and capitulation of the enemy's armed forces – this is now insufficient – but the humbling of the spirit of malice, the suppression of pride, the agreement of the parties with the architecture of peace and the postwar image of a common future on the basis of the victor's vision of the picture of the world. 

- The historical success of the victor is determined not so much by the level of what has been achieved, as by the manifested example of a true path of development and by the degree of attractiveness of the ideas about what is to come.  

- Blessed are the peacemakers. For organized violence, like a "midwife" of the birth in agony of a new reality, they channel into a course of hope for the success of the changes brought by war.

- The Russian world is seen as a solidary society of service, truth and the common good, open to "good will" to create the unprecedented.

Of course, Mao Zedong's thesis that "political power grows out of the barrel of a gun" has not disappeared anywhere in the information society either. However, once born, the successful application of power lies in the higher, immaterial sphere of the art of conquering without weapons.
