On the Chinese variant of the North–South waterway

The geopolitical concept with a spirit of white racial superiority: "Great North \ Global South" has its roots in the Thule Society for the Study of Germanic Antiquity of von Sebottendorf – who at the beginning of the 20th century substantiated the Aryan theory of occultism and the policy of the North's dominance over the decadent South.

Echoing H. Blavatsky's "The Secret Doctrine," the Great North concept under the guidance of V. Surkov's 2023 manifesto "The Birth of the North" pushes the Kremlin's practical policy into a ruinous program for the development of the Northern Sea Route.

One should not discount the Teutonic component of US President D. Trump's policy toward Greenland, including his meeting with V. Putin in Alaska, as the fulfillment of the tasks of the black international's revenge over liberalism.

However, let us return to the Northern Sea Route.

"The Sovcomflot gas carrier 'Alexey Kosygin,' built in Russia and commissioned on 22 December 2025, successfully completed its first voyage on the route Bolshoy Kamen (Primorsky Krai) — Ob Bay (Kara Sea) — Ura Bay (Barents Sea) — Murmansk and began work within the Arctic LNG 2 project: on 28 January (a month later) the gas carrier carried out the first loading of liquefied natural gas from Arctic LNG 2 in Ob Bay, and on 3 February — the unloading of LNG to a floating gas storage facility in Ura Bay," reports Sovcomflot.

The entry of the 'Alexey Kosygin' onto the route will accelerate the operation of the scheme for delivering sanctioned LNG to China outside the navigation season on the Northern Sea Route. The essence is that ice-class gas carriers deliver cargoes to Murmansk, from where conventional LNG tankers pick them up and go around Europe.

As can be seen from official reports, there is no talk of any acceleration of cargo delivery along the Northern Sea Route compared with the southern route Europe – Asia via the Suez Canal. Transporting LNG from fields in Yamal to China and Japan along the eastern route of the Northern Sea Route through heavy ice (from 4 to 6 meters) in conditions of the polar night, without precise sailing directions, is impossible.

Chinese public figure and investor Bian Hongdeng (third from the right) on 27.07.2021 at the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation put forward an initiative to deliver LNG from Yamal to the PRC not along the Northern Sea Route, but along the Ob and Irtysh rivers.

The Black Irtysh on Chinese territory is navigable and in Soviet times was used to transport ore from Xinjiang to Kazakhstan. Navigation along the Irtysh on Kazakh territory now requires modernization of infrastructure, including locking of hydroelectric dam gates.

If the coast of the Arctic Ocean is a deserted tundra, four shallow-water ports: Dikson, Khatanga, Tiksi, Pevek and rare shift-worker settlements, then the banks of the Ob and Irtysh are populated by urban and rural residents, for whom intensive gas carrier traffic will bring development to all surrounding life.

It is fundamentally important to note that LNG can be transported along rivers in 20-foot tank containers with easy transfer to rail and road transport, that is: from the loading point to the consumer.

If LNG is transported to China in tank containers, then empty gas carriers on the return journey from the PRC to Russia can be one-third loaded with standard 20-foot containers carrying Chinese goods.

Of course, rivers also freeze in winter, but this is not the heavy pack ice of the Arctic, and river icebreakers are not monsters like the Leader.

It is quite obvious that organizing a river route for LNG delivery to China (and the counter "northern delivery" from China) is less costly, more significant for the development of territories, and acts as a geopolitical clasp of the PRC – Kazakhstan – Russia in the world civilizational project Greater Eurasia – the Third Horde.

However, it is precisely the Horde component of the river route China – Central Asia – Russia that causes hostility and sabotage on the part of the champions of the Spirit of Schiller and Russia's European choice.
