The Specifics of Grace (De) in the New Era

The meaning of the name "Shanghai Spirit" is explained by 20 characters with the meaning: "mutual trust, mutual benefit, equality, mutual consultations, respect for cultural diversity, striving for joint development". In essence, this is a list of principles by which the member countries are guided in their relations with each other and in the work of the entire organization.

In other words, in the SCO concept, behind the name "Shanghai Spirit" there is no meaning of the immaterial principle of all that exists. And this is so even though in Chinese philosophy purely material foundations of politics rupture man's connection on earth with Heaven. The fibers of people's souls lose the channel of connection (De) with the Law of the Universe (Dao).

In the new era of the information society, the question of coupling the creative, constructive abilities of people on earth with the irresistible force of the Will of Heaven in the Law of the Universe becomes the main factor in the success of political practice.

This fateful question is resolved by restoring the channel of connection between the visible world and the invisible world, lost by pragmatic society, which is called the Grace of the Spirit of Truth (Shen).

That is, the acquisition of Grace (De) is the condition for transforming the political declarations of the Shanghai Spirit into an impulse of will, resolve, courage and an indestructible stimulus for action.

The way of acquiring De – the "call of the heart" – is wave resonance with Dao.

The adoption by the SCO of the life-giving Shanghai Spirit not in the form of conceptual principles, as now, but in the sacral form of Grace will require a corresponding ritual. It is precisely the ritual of power from heaven that will make it possible to cover the existing diversity of opinions in the SCO with the single Will of Heaven, for Heaven is one for all.

For understanding the processes:

- The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is not a Moscow organization. The organization is named after a Chinese megacity, the secretariat is located in Beijing, and the initiatives come from China. The main mastermind there is Xi Jinping.

- Xi's guiding initiatives are connected with the reform of global governance, global civilization, global security and global development. All of this is Chinese globalism with the name Great Unity – "Datong" (also known as the Community of Shared Future for Mankind around China).

- The first stage of creating the Community of Shared Future was worked out in the strategy of the Economic Belt of the New Silk Road and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.

- The second stage was launched in June 2026 with the creation of the World AI Cooperation Organization (WAICO). AI with a Chinese code will draw countries and peoples of shared future under the Chinese umbrella.

- At the same time, China created the Institute for the Study of Civilizations within the structure of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences to counter Samuel Huntington's concept of the clash of civilizations.

 - The SCO is a framework of the family of peoples of non-Western civilizations. The essence: the return to square one of the Single State of Genghis Khan in the new era of Xi Jinping.

- Everything concerning the interests of collective security, the coupling of economies and the strengthening of humanitarian ties in the SCO is correct, but for the specifics of the new era it is insufficient.

- A red thread for decision-makers regarding the course and line of the SCO should be the alignment of the 4 global initiatives put forward by PRC Chairman Xi Jinping with the concept of the Greater Eurasian Partnership and the Eurasian security architecture (the Greater Eurasia – Third Horde project) proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Now, actually, about the sacralization of the Shanghai Spirit:

- The alignment of Xi Jinping's global initiatives with V. Putin's Greater Eurasia project should be based on the fact of the historical continuity of the SCO with Genghis Khan's Unified State (the First Horde) and Stalin's Socialist Camp (the Second Horde).

- All SCO member countries (except India) in the 13th-14th centuries were part of the uluses (territory with population) of the Unified State, where the Great Khan was the Chinese emperor of the Yuan dynasty. Therefore, China's creation of the SCO Community of Shared Future can be regarded as a New Horde of the Xi Jinping era, repeated in the cycle of changes.

- The historical figure personifying the natural connection of Rus' with the Horde is the holy Prince Alexander Nevsky – the named son of Genghis Khan's grandson Batu (Rus. Baty), sworn brother of Khan Sartak. Prince Alexander personally traveled to the Horde for the yarlyk of the grand reign over Kiev and "all the Russian land" (1249), and then also over Vladimir (1252). In 2008, in the TV project "Name Russia," Prince Alexander Nevsky took first place as the most significant historical figure for the country (Stalin, at that time, took third place).

- In China, a church in the historic Hankou district of the city of Wuhan bears the name of the holy Prince Alexander Nevsky (汉口东正教堂). The church was built by Russian tea merchants in 1882 as a symbol of the Russian presence at the beginning of the "Great Tea Road" (万里茶道). In 1891, the heir to the Russian throne, the future Emperor Nicholas II, visited Hankou as part of his Eastern journey. In 2013, in a speech in Moscow that was "throne-room"-level for Russian-Chinese relations, Xi Jinping gave the tea road a high "great" status.

- In 2013-2015, at the initiative of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow, the church building in Hankou was restored (the Chinese side spent 47 million yuan on the restoration), however the Chinese opposed recreating a church in it. The building has no altar table for the consecration of the Gifts of the Eucharist, therefore it is not a church; there are no murals or icons, therefore it is not even a chapel. Today it is a "House of Russian-Chinese Cultural Exchanges" without any content.

- Nevertheless, above, in the dome of the empty space of the octagon, there is the symbol of the guiding eight-rayed Star of Bethlehem (two superimposed squares of the visible and invisible world — ۞). That is why the space of the Church of Alexander Nevsky in Hankou, at the entry point of the Great Tea Road, now uniting Eurasia of the new era, can be considered a sacred place of the presence of the Shanghai Spirit.

So, the place of the sacred presence of the Shanghai Spirit has been found. The competent authorities have only to develop and, at the appropriate time, conduct the ritual of Its initiation. Thus will occur the long-awaited, foretold by seers, "inoculation" of the Spirit of Truth, necessary for China to transition from the cycle of small prosperity into the cycle of Datong.

Sky Politics never tires of emphasizing that the driving force of the changes of the new era is the irresistible force (force majeure) of global transformation.

The authorities' decisions come about by necessity along the path of least resistance to the onslaught of circumstances of force majeure (不可抗力, 天灾).

With a view from above, Sky Politics merely shows the suitable route.
