On China's attempt to inoculate itself with the Spirit of Truth from Russia

The fundamental basis of Sky Politics as a doctrine of time filled with spirit is the recognition that the Law of the Universe is written in the universal barcode of change, known to the Chinese since antediluvian times.

Where the encoding of 64 states of living and nonliving nature occurs through such an aspect of number as even and odd, respectively by sets of six lines: broken in half (– –) and solid (—).

In 2000, the Russian scientist S. Petukhov established the correspondence of the barcode of change to the genetic code, written in ternary codons of amino acids, and to Mendeleev's periodic law, written by the number of protons in the atoms of chemical elements.

Sky Politics theorists hypothesized that the spiritual sphere of man is also written in the barcode of change, where the ternary codon is the bundle: the spirit of victory from the earth (Chinese Jing, color black); the energy of life (Chinese Qi, the color corresponds to the national specificity of the people's soul); and the Spirit of Truth from Heaven (Chinese Shen, the color white).

In biblical symbolism, the Spirit of Truth (Shen) is represented by a white dove. The Spirit of victory (Jing) is personified by a wave of fury and a striking sword. And for "socialism with Chinese characteristics," for example, the three colors of the energy of life are red, yellow, and blue.

The main categories of the spiritual sphere of Chinese civilization are the Way of Heaven – Dao and the Grace of the Spirit – De. And the history of the life of Chinese society is divided into three repeating periods: the chaos of the "warring states" (hunluan), small prosperity (xiaokang) and great unity (datong). However, after minor prosperity, the cycle may not transition into "datong," but may again break down into the chaos of discord.

Nothing definite can be said about the Way of Heaven (also known as the Order of Things, the Law of the Universe, the Truth, the Absolute), for the Great Dao lies beyond the limits of human consciousness.

De is a manifestation of the Dao—the descending Benevolent Power of the Way of Heaven, the gift of the Grace of the Spirit Shen. De flows through time, filling people's hearts with joy, granting society a sense of happiness, and endowing the ruler with authority from Heaven.

In the Confucian tradition, after overcoming internecine strife and the chaos of civil war (in New China this task was accomplished by Mao Zedong), with the country's attainment of minor prosperity (Deng Xiaoping's socialism with Chinese characteristics), owing to the sheer pragmatism of this cycle of history, the society of the PRC lost the Grace of the Spirit—De.

Officially, the building in the PRC of a moderately prosperous society, "xiaokang," was completed by the 100th anniversary of the CPC in 2021, and before the leadership of the party, the army and the entire people, whose core is Xi Jinping, there arose the task of transitioning into the cycle of the Great Unity (Datong), which in modern terms has been called the creation around China of a "Community of Shared Future for Mankind" (人类命运共同体).

The realization of the task of building by 2035 a powerful modern China of the New era of a Datong society (and this is the fulfillment of the Chinese dream of the revival of the greatness of the nation: 实现中华民族伟大复兴的中国梦) according to the Confucian canon requires the restoration in society of the lost De. For this, the PRC needs an inoculation of the Spirit.

According to the Law of Changes, in the corresponding cycle of development, only the East in the picture of the world mentally overcomes the Center occupied by China.

In the Celestial picture of the world, Russia is not the northwest, but precisely the East—the first country from the date line with the rising Sun to meet the new day on the planet. That is why Russian Orthodoxy, since pre-schism times, is called in Chinese not the "Third Rome," but the "Eastern Orthodox Teaching" (东正教).

The helmsman of New China, Mao Zedong, received the Grace of the Spirit of the red idea in Moscow, having negotiated a fraternal alliance with Stalin.

The leader of China of the New era, Xi Jinping, immediately after coming to supreme power in 2013, also wanted to receive from Moscow an inoculation of the Spirit of Truth for the realization of the Chinese dream and the transition of society into the Datong cycle. It is this attempt that we will recount further.

The Spirit of victory (jin) is acquired along the military line: "In struggle we shall grow strong in spirit," "Give your blood and receive the spirit," "Let noble fury boil up like a wave, the people's war is going on, the sacred war."

The acquisition of the Spirit of Truth (shen) requires a sacred action within the framework of the canon of some creed. The Holy Spirit breathes where it wills, however, for the "Spark of God" to pass into people's hearts, a favorable environment of faith, hope and love is necessary.

Thus, the question of restoring the lost De through inoculating China with the Spirit of Truth from the Eastern correct teaching ran up against the problem of the form of presence of Russian Orthodoxy in the PRC.

From the 18th century, the Russian Orthodox Ecclesiastical Mission operated in Beijing, which in the 20th century was transformed into the Chinese Autonomous Orthodox Church under the care of the Moscow Patriarchate. However, during the years of the Cultural Revolution in the PRC, Chinese Orthodoxy lost its bishops, and then, by the natural course of things, the autonomous church ceased to exist.

When in 2013 Xi Jinping suddenly invited the head of the ROC, Patriarch Kirill, to Beijing, the Moscow church hierarchy, on the wave of the "emperor's" unprecedented attention in China's history to a foreign church, decided to restore the Chinese Autonomous Orthodox Church, preparing and ordaining for it in Moscow clergy from among Chinese people, citizens of the PRC.

Whereas the leadership of the PRC, taught by the bitter experience of the Opium Wars of the mid-19th century and the Taiping "Heavenly Kingdom of Great Peace" under the aegis of the Pope of Rome, did not wish to deploy in the country a hierarchy of spiritual authorities of foreign origin, but wanted to find a "place of the presence of grace" in the form traditional for China of an Orthodox monastery.

At the same time, the Chinese leadership also disliked the Pavline (from the Apostle Paul) Byzantine formula of the "symphony" of secular and spiritual power of the "crafty Greeks" of the doctrine "Moscow – the Third Rome."

To understand the processes, a commentary is necessary regarding pre-schism (from the Apostle Andrew) Russian Orthodoxy, in contrast to the synodal Moscow church and the Vatican. So then:

The rite holds the dogma.

The pre-schism church was open to the Will of Heaven. This includes the procession with the Sun, clockwise. And the arrangement of the iconostasis, where the main symbol is a vertical going from earthly images to heavenly ones – the icon overhead (in tented churches the so-called "sails," and in cathedrals the painting in the cupola). And the image of the Holy Spirit – the Angel of Good Silence. And the peal of bells, and singing, and so on and so forth... Pre-schism Orthodoxy by rite was in odd number, as in heaven.

The synodal church – is triumphant on earth (and where else should it triumph?), it turned the procession counterclockwise, together with the rotation of the earth. It sealed the vertical in the iconostasis from above with a cross. After all, all the icons of all the horizontal rows are earthly personages, and the cross of crucifixion is on earth. Synodal Orthodoxy was translated into even number as on earth – this is both the twofold alleluia, and the number of prosphora at the proskomedia, and so on, and so forth.

Well, the main difference of pre-schism Orthodoxy is the presence of a monotheistic Power of Heaven (with the function of what is called the "Scourge of God" – punishment) and a triune Will of Heaven (into which one can attune by the wave resonance of prayer).

The Chinese need an inoculation of the Spirit for the acquisition of Grace (De). The Church on earth triumphant (from the Apostle Paul) cannot give such an inoculation. Nor can the Catholics (the church from the Apostle Peter).

To the Chinese, from the experience of betrayal by the Catholics, brothers in the faith – Christians, of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom of Universal Prosperity, a church with parishes, clergy, and church hierarchy – is not needed.

The Chinese tradition of connection with Heaven is monasteries: Daoist, Buddhist. Therefore the talk of an inoculation of the Spirit of Truth was about the tonsuring of monks, and not about the ordination of priests.

The question of installing a Chinese abbot for an Orthodox monastery – a senior colonel of the MSS of the PRC – was tied to the condition of linking the entire project to the Comintern's red line.

And the "colonel" needed only to be baptized and tonsured as an abbot in Russia according to the pre-schism rite. So that afterward the Chinese themselves would baptize and tonsure their monks into Orthodoxy.

But a monastery, as a place of divine presence and a source of political theology, needed not only a leader but also a capable spiritual father, which is why the CPC turned to the ROC. At that time there was the candidacy of Deacon Kuraev (not a priest).

In Moscow the Chinese ceremonies were not understood, and the Patriarchate firmly holds to the restoration of the Chinese Autonomous Church with a bishop, ordination of the priesthood, and parishes.

For the restoration of Grace, Beijing does not need Moscow – the Third Rome. But Holy Rus’ and the image of the holy Prince Alexander Nevsky, adopted by Batu, Khan of the Golden Horde, is suitable for the Community of Shared Future for Mankind in the priestless variant...

Faith in the PRC is handled not by the state but by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee. Hence the red Comintern line of inoculating the Spirit. Therefore the patriotic Spirit of China is for now acquired not as the Holy Spirit but as a fighting spirit.
